Black tea Assam comes from the Assam region in northeast India. It is a fertile region crossed by the Brahmaputra and its tributaries, which hosts more than 2500 gardens producing almost half of India's teas. Black tea Assam is known for its robust and spicy flavors. Our tea comes from the Chardwar tea garden, which has been brought back to life by tea promoters after years of decline. The 335 hectare garden provides employment for 150 tea workers and their families.
This black tea has an intense and full-bodied liquor. It is ideal for waking up and can be made sweeter with a touch of honey or tonic with lemon juice. For best tasting, boil at 95°C for 4 minutes.
